- 1. How do I log into Facebook from Scrapboy?
- Click on the "Facebook" button on the bottom-right side of the Scrapboy main screen.

Then use your Facebook login information to sign in.
- 2. Do I need a special Scrapboy account to use the software?
- No.
- 3. What other social networks does Scrapboy support?
- Scrapboy also supports MySpace and Orkut users. You can simultaneously log into all three networks from Scrapboy.
- 4. How do I select which friends to receive updates from?
- Scrapboy notifies you when your friends receive new events (like new wall posts and tagged photos), but only those friends that you are interested in. To start receiving notifications for a specific friend, you must opt to receive updates from that friend. To receive updates from a friend simply click on the friend from the main Scrapboy window, and select “Receive Updates” in the pop up window. By default, you do not receive updates from any of your friends. When you first start using Scrapboy, your Facebook friend list will be automatically loaded for your convenience, you must go through each friend in your list and decide which ones to receive updates from.

Alternatively, you could use the keyboard to select each friend and turn on updates using the CTRL+R shortcut.
- 5. How do I know if me or one of my friends has received a new event?
- Scrapboy will display a notification alert and play a sound each time that you or one of your friends receives a new event. A new window will open in minimized form to let you view the event details.

You will receive notifications for all the friends you've opted to receive updates from (see FAQ #4)
- 6. How can I manually open my wall post window in Scrapboy?
- The toolbar located right beside your photo in the main Scrapboy application window contains a wall post button. To open your wall post window and read your new wall posts click this button.

Alternatively, you could use the CTRL+SHIFT+M keyboard shortcut.
- 7. How do I quickly reply to someone who wrote on my wall?
- You can reply by doing one of the following:
- From your wall post window, click on your friend's photo that's beside the message they wrote. This will open up your friend's wall post window and you can write to it directly.

- From your wall post window, click on the user's name beside the "Reply to:" field or the "Reply to" button. You can then select the friend you'd like to reply to.

- From your wall post window, click on your friend's photo that's beside the message they wrote. This will open up your friend's wall post window and you can write to it directly.
- 8. How do I view who’s online on Facebook?
- Click on the “Who?” button on the top right of the main Scrapboy window and select “Who is online?”.

- 9. How does Scrapboy let me sort my friend’s list?
- You can currently sort your list according to:
- Who are your friends
- Who is online on Facebook
- Who are your new connections (friend requests)
- Who has an upcoming birthday
- 10. Can I use two Facebook accounts in Scrapboy?
- You can use an unlimited number of Facebook accounts with Scrapboy. However, to use a different account you must first sign out of the first account in Scrapboy, and then sign in again with the other account.
- 11. Can I open my or my friend's Facebook wall, profile or photo album in a web browser?
- Yes. From any Scrapboy User Window, click on the Facebook button on the top left, this will open the corresponding page in your web browser.

Alternatively, from your friends list on the Scrapboy main screen, you could use the CTRL+W or CTRL+SHIFT+W keyboard shortcut to launch your friend's or your profile in your webbrowser.
- 12. I have 978 friends. Can I go directly to one of my friends without using the scroll bar?
- Yes. Your friend list is sorted alphabetically. The fastest way to find one of your friends is to click anywhere in your friends list, and then start typing the name of your friend, you may just have to type “Gabi” to find “Gabriela”.
- 13. How can I manually open my friend’s wall post window?
- Select the friend whose wall posts you'd like to see, click on the wall post button in the pop-up menu.
- 14. If my friend deletes a wall post or photo from his/her profile, would I still be able to see it?
- Yes.
- 15. How do I invite a friend to use Scrapboy?
- Direct your friend to the main Scrapboy website: www.scrapboy.com, or invite them to join this Facebook Scrapboy fan page.
- 16. Can I write wall posts using different font colors or emotions on Facebook?
- No, currently Facebook does not support rich text wall posts. You may post rich text messages to your MySpace or Orkut friends.
- 17. What is that "Person with Stars" icon visible besides some of my friends in Scrapboy?
- The icon indicates that you are set to receive updates from this friend.

- 18. How do I access the Scrapboy menu?
- Scrapboy has two menus:
- Main Menu: In the main Scrapboy window, click on the menu button in the application title bar (the bar that contains the minimize, maximize and close buttons).

- Task Tray Menu: In the task tray (beside the clock), right-click on the Scrapboy icon.

- Main Menu: In the main Scrapboy window, click on the menu button in the application title bar (the bar that contains the minimize, maximize and close buttons).
- 19. How do I sign out of a network in Scrapboy?
- From the main menu in Scrapboy, choose “Sign Out”.
